Whilst the rest of the world is preoccupied by pumpkins, ghouls, and all things spooky, I've been working behind the scenes to bring you the grooviest, most-thumping, wigged-out dance and electronic releases this week. From the upfront, analogue disco of Sound Clash 02, to the dreamy, charming dub of Super Tempra, this week is rich in sonic depth and flavours.
Plenty of the below are pre orders too, so get 'em while they're hot! Special mention to the super talented Nonna Fab, who returns with another deep, dubbed-out slice of house magic.
Sound Klash – Sound Klash 02
Stompa Phunk resident Sound Klash delivers two raw, analogue-heavy cuts of jackin' house, acid and disco dub. 'French Dub' and 'Don't Turn' combine gritty samples, overdriven hardware and heavy bass lines for a rough-edged, dancefloor-focused 12”. Proper underground business, staying true to the Stompa Phunk sound since 1996.
Dreamhouse ft Ceasar – Jump & Prance
A welcome reissue of two rare 1990 cuts from NYC house producer Joey Longo under his Dreamhouse alias. 'Jump & Prance' and 'I Can Feel It' capture his raw, underground New York house sound, including the highly sought-after Dream Mix, back on vinyl for the first time since its original release. Essential early 90s house for DJs and collectors.

Caramel 3000 – Super Tempra
Hell Yeah is becoming a proper shop favourite label. Charming, immersive ambient paired with textural dub sounds. We can’t get enough.
Caramel 3000 returns to Hell Yeah with ‘Super Tempra’, eight tracks of wonderfully strange, slow-moving Balearic dub and psychedelic electronics. Created with vintage synths, modular textures, spring reverb and scattered vocal samples, the album drifts between hazy ambient soundscapes, tribal percussion, and off-kilter grooves.
A deep, experimental listen with support from Vladimir Ivkovic, Sean Johnston and Leo Mas.
Five Green Moons – Moon 3
Justin Robertson returns as Five Green Moons with ‘Moon 3’, an 11-track journey through psychedelic dub, post-punk, experimental electronics and left field folk. Heavy bass lines, ghostly chants, warped synths and spacious echoes create a strange, hypnotic sound, drawing on influences from King Tubby to Public Image Ltd.
Featuring contributions from author David Keenan and producer Nickelle, this is a top release for fans of adventurous, dub-wise sounds.
Aura Safari – Spaced Out Disco
Italian outfit Aura Safari return to Hell Yeah with Spaced Out Disco, eight tracks of live-recorded disco, jazz-funk and cosmic grooves inspired by the sounds of the 1970s. Played with real instruments and packed with warm bass lines, spacey synths, funky guitars and dub effects, the album draws on the spirit of Arthur Russell and the Compass Point sound.
A sublime blend of vintage disco, Balearic warmth and psychedelic funk.
Nonna Fab – Music, People and Spaces
Super talented producer, Nonna Fab delivers four cuts of deep, Detroit-influenced house. Made from rolling percussion with spacey synths, hypnotic grooves, and raw, Detroit-style warmth.
Top quality late-night deep house for the heads.
Larry Latenight – The Spiral
Larry Latenight returns to Latenight Recordings with another dose of high-energy, hi-tech house, this time pressed on a wicked looking limited blue vinyl. With early DJ support from Skream, Scuba, Pete Tong, Rampa and Saoirse, this one's for the house DJs.
Keep it rollin' through Autumn people and have a groovy Halloween.
