Some fantastic records here to keep your ears and soul warm during the stormy week ahead. From shop favourite WOLF Records, comes Retromigration's second instalment of the Choices EP series. Boris Dlugosch comes steaming in with fresh reissue of a classic - with new mixes of course, and Italian percussionist Umberto Vitiello teams up with Italian techno master Donato Dozzy to scratch that left-field, experimental, techno for the deep heads.
Malik Kassim aka Retromigration – Choices EP Vol.2
It only seems a minute that we have volume 1 of Retromigration’s Choices EP this year, and what a complete, coherent dance floor weapon that was. Malik Kassim is back with more of the same in the second installation of his sound, and we column’t be happier to hear the bouncy, floaty, pumping house sounds again.
Essential house DJ weaponry for all types of situations on the dance floor!
Layne & Chang – Shake Your Body
Whiskey Disco are back with more chuggy, does-what-it-says-on-the-tin disco-house!
Layne & Chang land on Whiskey Disco with a groove-heavy mix of disco, boogie and cosmic house, backed by two remixes from Idjut Boys' Dan Tyler. 'Shake Your Body' delivers punchy drums, swirling synths and vocoder funk, while 'In The Desert' takes things into hazier, late-night territory. Tyler's psychedelic reworks round off a strong four-track 12” for disco and left field house DJs.
Bruce Ivery – Share My Love
Chicago disco edit master Bruce Ivery returns to Stilove4music with another batch of dancefloor-ready cuts. A member of the legendary Chuck Brothers collective, with releases on Faith Beat, Ivery delivers the groove-heavy disco edits that have made him a firm favourite with DJs.
This label can do no wrong!
Boris Dlugosch – Keep Pushin' 2026
A proper 90s house anthem returns! Boris Dlugosch's 'Keep Pushin'' celebrates 30 years with a fresh reissue, featuring Inaya Day's unmistakable vocals and Mousse T. production. New remixes from Purple Disco Machine and Soul of Hex sit alongside two sought-after classic dub mixes. Essential house history with support from Louie Vega, Jimpster and Kai Alcé.
Umberto Vitiello – Lébou
Italian percussionist Umberto Vitiello teams up with Italian techno master Donato Dozzy, who brings his signature spacious, immersive mixing style to this deep, atmospheric album.
Inspired by Vitiello's years living on the Senegalese coast, the record blends organic percussion, hypnotic rhythms and evocative vocals into a deeply personal journey through memory and place. A fascinating release for fans of Dozzy's more ambient and experimental work.
One for the deep heads.
JAZZ N PALMS – El Valle / La Costa
Ibiza-based Jazz N Palms returns with two warm, organic grooves inspired by the island's landscapes. 'El Valle' pairs atmospheric organ with loose, dusty rhythms, while 'La Costa' strips things back to rolling drums and bass for a hypnotic, funky workout. Recorded live in Ibiza and mixed with help from Ben Westbeech, this is a lovely 7” of laid-back Balearic jazz-funk.
Do not miss!
