Trent - 1000 Flashbacks
Berlin-based Italian producer Trent returns with 1000 Flashbacks, four cuts spanning cosmic disco, Italo, and slow-burning club music.
‘Gimme Something’ brings euphoric vocals and a funky bass line for the more energetic end of the night, while ‘Cin Cin’ is a playful, percussion-heavy Italo workout. ‘Shiva Boom’ drops the tempo with tribal drums, acid and a hypnotic chug, before ‘Down To Oz’ closes things out with a hazy, melodic groove.
A versatile 12" with plenty for warm-ups, late-night sets, and those stranger moments in between. Absolute wigged-out funk tackle for the heads!
Thomass Jackson - UFO House Vol I
Thomass Jackson - Argentinian DJ and producer - has become a key part of Mexico's electronic underground, developing an instantly recognisable sound that blends dark disco, acid house, and techno.
This EP puts Jackson's production style firmly at the front, with driving drums, heavy bleep bass groove, hypnotic synths, and strange psychedelic details running throughout. Made with DJs in mind, it's a strong set of peak-time club tracks that twist the mood upside down when the night gets into those small, trippy, wee hours.

Dust off your type 2 denim jacket, clark’s desert boots, and strut your stuff with this ice cold soul slice from Human Race.
A killer double-sided Miami funk 45 from 1971, fully remastered and back on vinyl with replica artwork. Human Race grew out of the Miami Soul Revue, who spent the late '60s backing artists including Joe Tex, Clarence Carter and William Bell before cutting these two raw, hard-hitting funk tracks for the obscure Gem label.

Tino – Super Hot EP
MAD are back at it again, and they can do no wrong. The latest artist to grace the black wax of Make A Dance’s 12-inch discs is Tino.
Playful, jacking, and acid-tinged, it’s classic MAD material through and through, and it’s no surprise that the likes of Dr Banana, Eris Drew, and Moxie are getting behind the release.
Although a near-flawless four tracker, ’Rock Ya Body’ is a highlight, with it’s sonically-fresh merging of an African vocal and proto-house bass line.

Zeynep Erbay - Dans
We were big fans of the first Moments on the Floor release, Sky High, here at Sticky Black Tarmac, so this follow-up was always going to get our attention. Dans brings together four groove-led house tracks, mixing rolling rhythms with chopped vocals, flashes of acid and plenty of dancefloor energy. There's a nice mix of old-school influences and stranger modern touches throughout, moving between deeper moments and outright euphoria. Another really strong release from Zeynep Erbay.

Originally released in 2009, Moda is a full-throttle mix of pumping basslines, huge synths and hands-in-the-air Italo energy for the dancefloor. A proper DJ favourite first time around, with support from Erol Alkan, DJ Mehdi, A-Trak, Seth Troxler, Simian Mobile Disco, Groove Armada and plenty more. Finally back on vinyl and ready to do the damage all over again.
