Wunderhorse – Cub (Clear Vinyl)
£24.00
£24.00
Wunderhorse's debut album Cub has taken on a life of its own in the 20 months since its release, with sprawling, psychedelic numbers and sharp grunge refrains alike igniting Wunderhorse's ever-growing audience.
Across a mammoth touring campaign, the four-piece graduated from playing pubs to filling Glastonbury's Woodsies tent and selling out O2 Academy Brixton. Cub’s songs have become cultural reference points for younger fans.
Having previously fronted Dead Pretties and burned out early, Jacob Slater found new creative ground in Cornwall, working as a surf instructor and returning to songwriting. The result: introspective, considered compositions that laid the foundation for Wunderhorse.
The band's follow-up, Midas, released in 2024, charted in the UK Top 10 and received critical acclaim from NME, DORK, Telegraph and Rolling Stone.
Tracks: Butterflies / Leader Of The Pack / Purple / Atlantis / 17 / Teal / Poppy / Mantis / Girl Behind The Glass / Morphine / Epilogue
