Whitesnake - Slip of the Tongue

Released in 1989, Slip of the Tongue finds Whitesnake operating at full arena-rock scale. David Coverdale leads a polished, high-impact set distinguished by Steve Vai's virtuosic guitar work, giving the album a different instrumental character while retaining the band's strong melodic hooks and hard-rock power.

The record features Fool For Your Loving and The Deeper the Love, alongside the title track, Now You're Gone, Judgment Day and the expansive closing track Sailing Ships. The combination of Coverdale's vocals, Vai's highly technical playing and the album's late-1980s production places it firmly within Whitesnake's peak arena period.

This limited edition presents the complete ten-track album on 180g black vinyl, split across two sides. Released through Concord in September 2026, it restores the original album sequence in a heavyweight-vinyl format.
