Westside Cowboy – It Goes On
It Goes On is the debut album from Manchester four-piece Westside Cowboy, produced by Loren Humphrey and released via Island. Formed through friendship and instinct rather than calculation, the band channel the raw spark of early rock’n’roll, indie rock and loose, emotionally charged guitar music into a debut full of movement, urgency and heart.
Recorded at Greenmount Studios in Leeds, the album captures the quartet’s direct, live-wire chemistry across eleven songs that balance youthful hope, confusion and cathartic forward motion. Tracks including “Kick Stones (The Boys)”, “Well Done Kid, You Did It”, “Pin Up Boys” and “You Could Have Died There On The Dancefloor” showcase a band turning simple ideas into big feelings, with melodic immediacy and communal energy at the centre of everything they do.
This vinyl edition is housed in carefully finished packaging, with the standard LP pressed on 140g black recycled vinyl and the Indies Exclusive edition pressed on limited 140g red recycled vinyl. A vital debut for fans of modern UK guitar music, alternative rock and heartfelt indie songwriting.
