Tunis Hotel Stereo is a compilation of Tunisian rock, funk, disco and reggae recorded between 1977 and 1984, compiled by Cheb Mimo for Shakshouka Records.

Born from Tunisia's post-independence hotel circuit, the music documents a generation of musicians who absorbed international sounds while retaining a distinctly Tunisian identity. Funk, psychedelic pop, jazz-rock, disco and reggae meet local instrumentation and melodic traditions across nine rare recordings.

The compilation is the result of years of research, record hunting and conversations with the artists and audiences connected to the scene. It includes a 16-page booklet with liner notes by Mehdi ben Yahiya and Cheb Mimo, was mastered and cut at The Carvery, and pressed in the UK.
