Van Halen - A Different Kind of Truth

A Different Kind of Truth is the twelfth and final studio album by Van Halen, originally released in 2012. It marked the band’s first studio album with David Lee Roth since 1984 and brought the classic frontman back together with Eddie Van Halen and Alex Van Halen, alongside Wolfgang Van Halen on bass.

Several songs on the album revisit material first demoed by the band during the late 1970s and early 1980s, reshaped and rewritten for this later incarnation of Van Halen. The result connects the group’s early hard-rock attack with the heavier production and performances of their final studio era. The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 and went on to receive Gold certification.

This edition presents the complete 13-track album across two 180g black vinyl LPs, housed in a gatefold jacket with a marketing sticker and shrinkwrap.
