The Traveling Wilburys - The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3 (2016 Remaster)

The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3 is the group’s second studio album, recorded after the unexpected death of Roy Orbison and featuring George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan as a four-piece. Originally released in 1990, the record preserves the easy-going collaborative spirit of the Wilburys while giving the remaining members more space to trade vocals, guitars and songwriting ideas.

The album includes the singles Inside Out, She’s My Baby and Wilbury Twist, balancing rootsy rock, humour and tightly crafted pop songwriting. Its deliberately playful title continued the group’s habit of treating the Wilburys as a fictional family band rather than a conventional all-star project.

This black-vinyl edition uses the 2016 remaster, making it a straightforward catalogue pressing for collectors and fans of George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan, as well as listeners completing the Traveling Wilburys studio catalogue on vinyl.
