The Polyversal Souls – Sad Nile (7" Vinyl)

Philophon’s house band The Polyversal Souls return on a 7" single featuring two highlights from their back catalogue. “Sad Nile” appears here in a re-mastered version, adding extra fire to the hypnotic rhythm and the beautifully melancholic Ethiopian melody. On the flip, Florence Adooni’s highlife twister “Mam Pe'ela Su'ure” is reimagined as an instrumental, with the melody passionately played on flute by Philophon artist Jimi Tenor.
