The Millennium’s Begin is a cult late-1960s psychedelic pop album blending hard rock, breezy ballads and richly arranged studio psychedelia into a tightly constructed whole.

Originally released in 1968, the album was one of Columbia’s most ambitious studio productions of its era and has since grown in reputation as an inventive and enduring example of West Coast psychedelic pop.

Across fourteen tracks, sharp songwriting and layered arrangements keep the record concise and melodic, avoiding the excess that marked many contemporary psychedelic releases.
