The Mars Volta - Lucro Sucio; Unfinished Business

The Mars Volta return with Lucro Sucio; Unfinished Business, their first official live release since 2005's Scabdates. Rather than simply presenting a conventional concert document, the album reinterprets material from Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacio through performances captured during the band's acclaimed fall 2025 tour.

The project also invited listeners directly into the selection process. A cryptic countdown on the band's website led to an interactive voting mechanism, with each performance represented by a symbol corresponding to the city in which it was recorded. The resulting thirteen-track album reflects both the live evolution of the material and the choices made by the band's audience.

This edition is pressed across two 140g red vinyl records and comes in a 12-inch wide-spined sleeve with poly-lined inner sleeves and a two-page insert. It is released on 16 October 2026.
