The Seeds Of Love is the acclaimed third studio album from Tears For Fears, originally released in September 1989. A commercial and critical success, it debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and achieved Platinum certification from the BPI within three weeks. In the United States it reached number eight on the Billboard 200 and was also certified Platinum.

Widely regarded as one of the defining albums of the 1980s, the record includes some of the band's best-known recordings: Sowing The Seeds Of Love, Woman In Chains, Advice For The Young At Heart and Badman's Song. The album's ambitious production and songwriting remain central to the Tears For Fears catalogue.

This special 2LP edition is pressed on a marble/special-effect blue vinyl and uses alternative sleeve artwork. The first disc presents the original album, while the second gathers demos and rare versions, with several of these recordings appearing on vinyl for the first time. It is housed in a single sleeve and offers an expanded vinyl presentation of the 1989 album.
