Tears For Fears - The Seeds Of Love (Half-Speed Master)

The Seeds Of Love is the acclaimed third studio album from Tears For Fears, originally released in September 1989. A commercial and critical success, it debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and achieved Platinum certification from the BPI within three weeks. In the United States it reached number eight on the Billboard 200 and was also certified Platinum.

Widely regarded as one of the defining albums of the 1980s, the record includes some of the band's best-known recordings: Sowing The Seeds Of Love, Woman In Chains, Advice For The Young At Heart and Badman's Song. The album's ambitious production and songwriting remain central to the Tears For Fears catalogue.

This 1LP edition has been cut at half speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. The half-speed mastering process is presented here as an audiophile-focused edition designed for enhanced fidelity and vinyl playback. It preserves the original eight-track album sequence across two sides, from Woman In Chains and Badman's Song through Year Of The Knife and Famous Last Words.
