Spacebunny / The Mingers – Spacebunny / Fancy A Shag

Two essential early tribal tech house cuts here, reissued in style from Gems. More recent Gems records have been popular and there are more on the way, so for now, we’ve brought you one from last year. This series can’t go wrong.

The former track is a pacy, peak time club track for sweating out the evening under low ceilings, whilst the latter is a perfect groove initiator for the early parts of the evening, with big, tribal beats and thick groovy bass lines.

The Spacebunny tracks were originally released on Surreal Recordings back in 1996, the original mix being licensed to Danny Tenaglia's Twisted Secrets (vol2). The Mingers ‘Fancy A Shag’ track was released in 2002 on Deeper London (a subsidiary of Surreal Recordings) with a limited press of only 200 copies.
