Snail Mail — the project of Lindsey Jordan — returns with her highly anticipated third album Ricochet, her first in five years.

Where her early work chronicled the turbulence of young love, Ricochet turns toward time, mortality, and the quiet terror of watching the things you love slip away. Across 11 songs, Jordan pairs incisive lyricism with expansive melodies, ornate strings and hypnotic textures.

Recorded with producer/bassist Aron Kobayashi Ritch (Momma) in North Carolina and Brooklyn, the album channels the luminous side of ’90s alternative rock — filtered through Jordan’s singular voice.
