Simply Red - Stars
£38.00
Originally released in 1991, Stars is Simply Red’s fourth studio album and one of the defining British pop and soul records of the decade. Built around Mick Hucknall’s instantly recognisable voice, the album combines polished soul, pop, funk and sophisticated studio production with some of the band’s strongest and most enduring songwriting.
The album includes major singles such as “Something Got Me Started”, “Stars” and “For Your Babies”, alongside a collection of warm, melodic songs that helped make the record an enormous international success. Smooth without losing its emotional edge, Stars remains a superb example of early-90s British soul-pop and a key title in the Simply Red catalogue.
