Ryan Adams – Animal

Ryan Adams - Animal is a ten-track studio album built around an intimate, largely solo performance from Adams, who wrote every song and plays drums, bass, guitars, piano, synths and harmonica across the record.

Produced and mixed with Dror Mohar and mastered by Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound, Animal moves through nocturnal alt-country and alternative rock moods, from the bruised defiance of Amethyst and the plain-spoken ache of Pass Me By to the wintry closing track Outsiders In. Daniel Clarke contributes synths and Hammond B3, while J.C. Khul adds saxophone to the coda of Soon.

The vinyl editions include a Blueberry Blue pressing with hype sticker and a black vinyl edition limited to 500 copies. The CD is presented in a 4-panel digisleeve.
