Rory Green - Moments Brighter Than The Sun

Moments Brighter Than The Sun is the debut album from Manchester-based composer, guitarist and bandleader Rory Green. Blending contemporary ambient, jazz and folk influences, the record draws on childhood memories spanning Ghana and Northern England and transforms them into richly textured ensemble music.

Recorded in Manchester with saxophones, double bass and drums around Green's guitar and synthesiser parts, the album was produced by Rory Green alongside Gondwana founder Matthew Halsall, who also contributes flute to the title track. The black BioVinyl LP comes in a printed sleeve with an insert and resealable protective sleeve.
