Roméo Poirier - Plage Arrière

Plage Arrière is the cult debut album from French ambient composer Roméo Poirier, now repressed by Kit Records with updated artwork.

The record is conceived as a deep-sea meditation on a constellation of Greek beaches across three islands. Trumpets, echoing clicks and shimmering piano are folded into spacious aquatic textures, giving the album a submerged, sun-bleached atmosphere.

Drawing comparisons with the exploratory ambient work of Jürgen Müller and Jan Jelinek, Plage Arrière balances field-like detail with patient composition. This repress is limited to 500 copies.
