Nouvelle Vague - A Date with Depeche Mode
A Date with Depeche Mode sees Nouvelle Vague apply their signature reinterpretive approach to thirteen songs from the Depeche Mode catalogue. Recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Paris, the album transforms machine-driven originals into warm, intimate arrangements shaped by bossa nova, jazz, French pop and Latin influences.
Guest vocalists include Skye Edwards, Flavia Coelho, Mélanie Pain, Beth Hirsch, Phoebe Killdeer, Fredrika Stahl and others. The set includes reworkings of “Enjoy the Silence”, “Personal Jesus”, “Stripped”, “Just Can’t Get Enough” and “Ice Machine”.
