Nina Maia – Inteira (Deluxe Edition)

It began with a cassette tape entitled 'Pleased To Meet You' gifted to us at Sessa's Fasching, Stockholm show by Yann Dardenne, the multi-tasking tour manager, sound engineer, producer, and co-owner of Seloki Records. The hauntingly captivating 'GOSTO MEIO DOCE' by Nina Maia and Francisca Barreto gave us a taste of Nina's ethereal, addictive voice. Born in Minas Gerais and now based in Sao Paulo, the 22-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer has already collaborated on soundtracks for six Brazilian feature films. Her debut album 'INTEIRA'—meaning 'whole'—is rich with Brazilian heritage, influenced by samba cancao, MPB, Clube da Esquina, and contemporary artists like Portishead and Rosalia.

Each track reflects different moments from Nina’s youth, crafted with sophisticated arrangements, eloquent vocals, and intimate lyrics. The album features contributions from Thalin, Valentim Frateschi, Francisca Barreto, Thales Hashiguti, Yann Dardenne, and Nina herself. Recognized by the APCA awards and featured by Bandcamp Weekly and BBC 6 Music, this deluxe edition includes four additional tracks including 'MANHA' and a rendition of 'Serenata Do Adeus'.
