Naná Rizinni - Epiblast

Epiblast is a deeply personal album from São Paulo-born, London-based drummer, producer and composer Naná Rizinni.

Written and co-produced with saxophonist and producer Mark Cake, the record explores transformation, grief, new parenthood and self-discovery through a blend of Brazilian rhythmic traditions, contemporary jazz improvisation and forward-thinking electronic production.

Expansive sound design, modular synthesis and intricate rhythmic interplay give Epiblast a distinctive identity within the contemporary jazz and experimental music landscape, marking Rizinni's most fully realised artistic statement to date.
