Muca and legendary Brazilian composer Roberto Menescal join forces on Muca Roberto Menescal Beleza, a globe-spanning reimagining of bossa nova rooted in rhythmic subtlety and melodic intimacy.

Drawing on MPB, soul, folk and jazz, the album honours bossa nova's foundations while reaching toward a contemporary international sound. Menescal's search for fresh voices and ideas reflects the genre's literal meaning of 'new wave', bridging Brazilian musical culture past and present.

Highlights include a collaboration with vocalist Sofia Grant, with lyrics by acclaimed British poet and songwriter L.A. Salami, adding a distinctive folk-jazz and literary dimension to this exploratory new chapter in the bossa nova tradition.
