Mahogany Brown is the debut Peacefrog album from Kenny Dixon Jr. aka Moodymann, originally released in 1998 and now presented on 2LP smokey vinyl.

Drawing on soul, funk, gospel and hip-hop production techniques, the album moves from mellow disco-inflected cuts such as Mahogany Brown and Stoneodenjoe to rawer house material including Me And My Peoples Eyes.
