Mondo Freaks - Won't You Decide (musclecars Remix)

Mondo Freaks are a ten-piece Melbourne boogie and funk act whose debut album arrived in late 2025. This limited 12-inch release revisits fan favourite Won’t You Decide through a remix by New York duo musclecars.

Following remixes for artists including Kokoroko and Louie Vega, musclecars reshape the track as a cosmic-jazz-inspired deep-house workout. Shuffling drums, exploratory keyboards, percussion and backing vocals surround Aaron Mendoza’s soulful original vocal, while a substantial low end keeps the remix firmly aimed at the dancefloor.

The release also includes an instrumental treatment of the remix and brings the original single edit to vinyl. Early DJ support cited by the label spans house, disco and club selectors including François K, Laurent Garnier, Louie Vega, Radio Slave, Idjut Boys, Harvey Sutherland and Joe Goddard.
