Maria
had
settled

her
then
husband

synthesizer
wizard
Hugo
Fattoruso

fame),
who

takes
on
production
duties.
The
album
combines
Maria’s
own
compositions
with
her
unique
takes
on
some
Brazilian
classics
by
Ary
Barroso,
Denis
Brean
and
Gilberto
Gil
amongst
others,
compositions
which
gain
a
new
significance
with
Maria’s
ethereal
interpretation
and
the
blended
elements
of
Candombe,
provided
by
the
all-star
line-up
of
Uruguayan
musicians
who
joined
in
for
the
recording.
