Marc Mac – The Invisible Soldiers returns to 180g black vinyl as part of the producer’s acclaimed Beats & Knowledge series. Across this six-volume project, the 4hero co-founder combines original boom-bap, jazz and soul production with speeches, broadcasts and historical testimony. The result is neither a conventional instrumental album nor a simple spoken-word archive, but a carefully sequenced musical documentary.

The Invisible Soldiers focuses on the often under-recognised service of Black military personnel during the Second World War.
