Originally released in 1986, L’Empire Des Sons is an otherworldly blend of synth pop, folk experimentation, and avant-garde textures. Formed in Saint-Étienne by percussionist Dominique Lentin and vocalist Bipé Redon, the album fuses ethnic percussion, marimbas, xylophones, and synthesizers with surreal, fragmented lyrics. A cult French gem, it now returns remastered from the original tapes, pressed on vinyl with extensive liner notes and unseen photos.
