Ivy Knight – Iron Mountain

Iron Mountain is the debut album from Oakland-raised, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Ivy Knight, released via Scenic Route Records in a limited vinyl edition.

Produced and engineered by Deer park, the album conjures a vivid landscape of alternative folk, indie Americana and dreamlike storytelling. Across Iron Mountain, Knight draws on barren Southwest imagery, old trail ballads and memories that seem to drift in from another time, creating a world that feels both intimate and cinematic.

Songs such as Headlamp, Red Rock, Canyon and Swimming In Blood showcase a songwriter with a strong visual language and a haunting melodic sensibility. The record sits comfortably between modern indie songwriting and the dustier traditions of late 50s and early 60s folk.
