Islands On Tape - Dust Conspiracy

Islands On Tape is a producer-led project from musician and composer Nitzan Dana, introduced here with the three-track Dust Conspiracy EP.

The release blends vintage exotica, library music, psychedelic groove and modern beat culture, drawing on influences that range from Sven Wunder and Les Baxter to Madlib and MF DOOM.

Recorded across three sessions with a close circle of collaborators, the EP combines live drums, flute, percussion, surf guitar, Farfisa organ and atmospheric studio textures. Dust Conspiracy leans into espionage-soundtrack tension, Cellar No. 7 explores Mediterranean exotica, and Speedrun builds toward a wide-screen cinematic climax.

The result is a richly detailed instrumental record balancing 1960s soundtrack atmosphere with dusty hip-hop sensibility and contemporary psychedelic groove.
