Hiroshi Yoshimura - Quiet Forest

Originally issued on compact disc in 1996, Quiet Forest was Hiroshi Yoshimura’s last album-length work to be released before his passing in 2003. Inspired by a trip to the forests of the North American Pacific Northwest, the album is an aural reflection of the surreal beauty he experienced there.

This edition marks the first-ever vinyl release, produced in full cooperation with Yoshimura’s estate and remastered from the original sources by John Baldwin. The vinyl includes reproductions of Yoshimura’s handwritten recording notes, English translations of the original liner notes, and a 5 x 7 postcard print.
