Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard - The Dark Knight (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (Neon Splatter Vinyl)
Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard’s score for The Dark Knight returns as a limited 2LP colour edition, pairing two complementary splatter pressings: Neon Purple / Neon Green on the first disc and Neon Green / Neon Purple on the second. The soundtrack is a tense, large-scale work built around propulsive electronics, orchestral weight and stark thematic contrasts.
The album includes the extended opening piece Why So Serious?, alongside I’m Not A Hero, Harvey Two-Face, Like A Dog Chasing Cars, Agent Of Chaos, Watch The World Burn and the closing A Dark Knight. Together, Zimmer and Howard create a score that moves between relentless momentum, brooding atmosphere and powerful cinematic themes.
Pressed on two 140g splatter-vinyl LPs, this limited Warner EMEA repress is a striking collector edition of one of the most recognisable film scores of the 2000s.
