Graham Coxon – The Golden D

The Golden D, Graham Coxon’s second solo studio album, returns as part of Transgressive’s reissue campaign celebrating the Blur guitarist’s expansive solo catalogue. Originally released in 2000, the record pushed Coxon into heavier, rawer and more punk-driven territory, contrasting sharply with the lo-fi intimacy of his debut while retaining his unmistakable melodic instincts and restless guitar energy.

Written, recorded and produced by Coxon, the album includes “Oochy Woochy” alongside covers of Mission of Burma’s “Fame and Fortune” and “That’s When I Reach For My Revolver”. With original artwork by Coxon and LP editions presented in kraft board sleeves with A6 postcards, this reissue is an essential addition for Blur collectors, Graham Coxon fans and anyone drawn to rough-edged, uncompromising British alternative rock.
