Getdown Services - Crisps

Crisps is the debut album from Getdown Services, released by Breakfast Records. The Bristol duo move rapidly between rock 'n' roll, proto-punk, new wave, krautrock, electro and their own strain of apocalyptic disco, combining raucous energy with wry observations on everyday life. The supplied album notes highlight Evil On Tap as a full-throttle rock track centred on repetition, work and the pressures of modern life, while the wider record continually shifts style and tone. This edition is pressed on standard black vinyl.
