Sublime soulfulness from Georgie Sweet, the Bournemouth-born, Brighton-based singer/songwriter tipped by the likes of Gilles Peterson and Jazz FM's Tony Minvielle for big things with a track taken from the ' I Swear To You' long player .

On this collaboration with First Word Records Sweet's heavenly voice is very much at the centre of 'All That We Were', with dazzling close harmony work gliding gracefully across a laid back groove that slopes along in nicely lazy fashion.

This release from the ever reliable Mukatsuku label gives DJs extra flexibility with a flipside version that eaves the lead lines out but leaves the groove and the soothing backing vocals intact. Sweet, in more ways than one.
