Geese - Projector returns in a 2026 Indies-exclusive pressing on Opaque Orange vinyl. Originally released as the Brooklyn group’s debut album, Projector introduced a band already sounding unusually alert to tension, rhythm and atmosphere. The record began as a project between friends attempting to build a home studio in a basement, but the result reaches far beyond those modest origins: a tightly connected collection of songs shaped by youthful uncertainty, pent-up frustration and an intense love of making music together.

Across the album, Geese combine post-punk angles with art-rock ambition and the nervous electricity of a group discovering its own language in real time. “Rain Dance” opens with wiry guitars and a restless pulse, while “Low Era” turns that energy into something more hypnotic. “Fantasies / Survival” and “First World Warrior” stretch the band’s arrangements without losing their forward momentum, allowing vocals, guitars and rhythm section to push against one another in ways that feel spontaneous yet controlled.
