Editors - Surface, Echo & Sound

Surface, Echo & Sound is Editors’ eighth studio album, released through Play It Again Sam. Following the electronic collaboration of 2022’s EBM, the band returned to a more natural, live-room approach, developing the songs together in rehearsal and building from the stripped-back material brought in by Tom Smith.

The album captures Editors in a refreshed setting while retaining the scale and atmosphere that have defined their catalogue. Both vinyl editions are housed in a 3mm spined outer sleeve with a printed card lyric inner; the colour edition is pressed on Yellow / Green Transparent vinyl.
