Eddy Giles - Tingling / Pins And Needles

The much-admired southern soul singer Eddy Giles' final single for his local Shreveport label Murco paired 'Tingling' with another side, and original copies have since become highly sought after by rare-soul collectors.

'Tingling' is a catchy, atmospheric song written by Murco executive Dick Martin and Jimmy Johnson. The flip, 'Pins And Needles', draws on a 1940s country composition by Fred Rose and becomes an excellent mid-tempo soul performance. This release brings the pairing back to vinyl, with 'Pins And Needles' appearing on vinyl for the first time.
