David Bowie - The Shel Talmy Recordings

The Shel Talmy Recordings collects David Bowie’s 1965 recordings with producer Shel Talmy, known for his work with The Kinks and The Who. The material features Bowie under his earlier Davie Jones name with the Lower Third, as a solo performer and with The Mannish Boys, whose line-up included Jimmy Page on guitar.

The vinyl edition presents twelve recordings from this formative period on 180g vinyl with a printed inner bag. It is available with the standard artwork or as a numbered alternative-cover edition exclusive to HMV and Record Store Day stores in the UK, limited to 1,965 copies.
