Coil - Gold Is The Metal (With The Broadest Shoulders)

Gold Is The Metal (With The Broadest Shoulders), Coil’s vital 1987 album, returns in a newly remastered edition. The third part of the trilogy that began with Scatology and Horse Rotorvator, the record draws on textural instrumentals, field recordings and unpredictable studio experimentation.

Remastered under the guidance of original member Stephen Thrower, this edition restores the original artwork and adds previously unseen imagery and new sleeve notes. The LP includes a 20-page booklet, colour postcard-size art card and a 12” x 12” square card insert, presenting a substantial new edition of one of Coil’s key experimental recordings.
