Cinnamon Gum – Moon Water (Vinyl EP)

‘Moon Water’ is the debut EP album from Cinnamon Gum, a project by Maciej Milewski. To authentically reflect the sound of 1970s Funk and Soul music, Milewski limited himself to the tools and engineering techniques used by producers at Motown Records. The stories on the album revolve around the theme of love— platonic, whimsical, and sometimes imaginary. The album features all the singles previously released by Seagull Ross Records, which were highly praised by music journalists: ‘Get Back,’ ‘Mona Lisa,’ and ‘Let Us Fly.’ Milewski himself is the author and performer of most parts (vocals, guitars, bass, Wurlitzer, organs, glockenspiel). For the additional tracks, he collaborated with fellow musicians from the Tri-City area, including Sławek Koryzno (drums, bongos), Łukasz Łapiński (conga), Joanna Bieńkowska (violin), Paweł Witulski (vibraphone), and Dora Theisebach and Łukasz Reks (backing vocals).
