Originally released on Mingus’ own Jazz Workshop imprint, this legendary performance features a powerhouse sextet including Eric Dolphy, Johnny Coles and Jaki Byard—a high-wire set blending blues, explosive swing and avant-garde bursts.
Carefully remastered by Grammy-winning engineer Michael Graves, mastered for vinyl by Jeff Powell, and pressed on 180g clear vinyl with restored original artwork produced in conjunction with Jazz Workshop Inc. and the Charles Mingus Estate.
