Boy Harsher - Get Mean

Boy Harsher return with Get Mean, a new 2026 release from the American electronic duo of vocalist Jae Matthews and producer Augustus Muller. Since forming in Savannah, Georgia in 2013, the pair have built a devoted international following around a sound that fuses stark electronics, shadowy synth textures and an unmistakably physical sense of rhythm.

Known for the dark, atmospheric intensity of tracks such as “Pain”, Boy Harsher have become one of the most recognisable names in contemporary darkwave and underground electronic music. Their music sits at the meeting point of club culture, minimal synth and industrial-leaning pop, with Matthews’ detached, intimate vocal delivery set against Muller’s precise, propulsive production.

Get Mean arrives on 18 September 2026 and will be available on 140g vinyl. This listing includes both the standard black vinyl edition and the RSD Store Exclusive blue vinyl edition, allowing collectors and fans to choose between the regular pressing and the limited retail-exclusive colour variant.
