Bobbi Row & The Englishmen / The Question Marks - Why'd You Put Me On / Ain't That Kinda Sad

Bobbi Row & The Englishmen were reputedly Don Julian & The Larks recording under a pseudonym in the hope of catching some sales from the British Invasion. 'Why'd You Put Me On' is a Los Angeles harmony ballad long prized by lowrider music fans.

The B-side comes from The Question Marks with the Money-label ballad 'Ain't That Kinda Sad'. Both original discs are tough to find and usually expensive, making this Kent Soul Harmony pairing a welcome reissue.
