Birdy - Birdy (Recycled Colour Vinyl)
Birdy, the debut studio album from English singer-songwriter Birdy, returns to vinyl in a new 140g recycled colour vinyl edition. Originally released in 2011, the album introduced Birdy’s intimate vocal style to a wide audience through a collection of carefully reworked songs alongside the original composition Without a Word.
The record includes her UK Top 20 version of Bon Iver’s Skinny Love, as well as interpretations of Fleet Foxes’ White Winter Hymnal, James Taylor’s Fire and Rain, The National’s Terrible Love and The Postal Service’s The District Sleeps Alone Tonight.
Pressed on 100% recycled vinyl, this edition offers a fresh physical presentation of Birdy’s breakthrough album while retaining the sparse, emotive arrangements that made the original release so distinctive.
