Billy Bragg & Wilco - Mermaid Avenue Vol. III
£35.00
Mermaid Avenue Vol. III presents the third chapter of Billy Bragg and Wilco’s acclaimed Woody Guthrie project as a standalone vinyl release. Originally assembled as part of the 2012 Complete Sessions, the collection gathers previously unreleased recordings created around the wider Mermaid Avenue collaboration.
The project pairs Guthrie’s unpublished lyrics with new music composed and performed by Bragg and Wilco, bridging folk tradition, Americana and alternative country. This 2LP Concord edition gives the third volume its own dedicated format and completes the trilogy alongside Mermaid Avenue and Mermaid Avenue Vol. II.
