Bessoso & Poirier – Hey! Lalango

Originally recorded in Paris in 1981, Bessoso’s “Hey! Lalango” combines Central African rhythmic drive with Latin influence and distinctive Fang-language vocals. For this new 45, Montréal producer Poirier reworks the track for the dancefloor while preserving its hypnotic character.
