Beirut - Gulag Orkestar

Beirut's Gulag Orkestar is the debut album that introduced Zach Condon's distinctive blend of indie songwriting, brass-band arrangements and Eastern European folk influence.

Originally released in 2006, the record pairs intimate vocals with accordion, trumpet, strings and percussion, creating a richly orchestrated sound that quickly established Beirut as one of the most recognisable indie projects of the era.
