Dobbö – Lovely Day for It

Dobbö - Lovely Day for It is a limited 7-inch spotlighting two key tracks from the UK multi-instrumentalist’s six-track EP. Dobbö works across jazz-funk, fusion and instrumental groove, with influences that point toward Weather Report, Herbie Hancock and Allan Holdsworth.

Hidden Village takes the mellower route, combining funky drums and electric guitar with flute, bells and wordless vocals. Eye Spy moves in a more uptempo direction, driven by a slinky bassline and fluid fusion guitar built for the dancefloor.

Together the two tracks show different sides of Dobbö’s playing across drums, guitar and bass. It is a concise introduction to a groove-first instrumental sound that connects contemporary UK jazz-funk with classic fusion traditions.
